Hello folks!! After creating my page for Scrapology this month I had some spare little photos just sitting on my desk as I had printed 'mirror-images' to see what would better with my layout. I couldn't let them go to waste so set to work creating my little piece of artwork.
I love this little piece and can't take my eyes off it.... hence all the photo's in this post. I used some Art Parts (spools) as the base piece which I covered with papers from the Prima Fairy Belle pad I had to hand. I punched a tiny scalloped border (EK Success) which I found quite tricky to stick into place. I coiled the wires on the roses as draped them over the edge of the platform so they looked like tendrils.
I used my hot melt glue gun to adhere the wooden peg that was holding the tiny picture of Ben an topped it with a rose. The teeny little butterflies I cut from the patterned papers, glittered them and mounted them on wire before adding to the piece.
I really enjoyed making this piece and I urge you to have a go at making your own. You'll treasure it.
Right-o, I'm off to get some sleep. I want to enjoy the rest of today (when I get up).... well.... it is my birthday ;o)
Ciao for now!
