Hello folks!! Here's a card I made using Sam Poole's fresh Urban Beat stamp set. Do you remember Music boxes and cassette tapes like these? I certainly do. I remember sitting and recording music from the radio and making my own 'mix' tapes trying really hard to avoid the voice of the DJ :o)
I created the background paper with Craft Artist and the Planet Pop digi kit. I stamped the main image in black Versafine and embossed with clear powder. I stamped the 'Music' artwork with Versamark, embossed it with turquoise powder, coloured it in with black sparkle Sakura pen, cut it out and adhered to the card with dimensional glue gel.
I repeatedly stamped, masked and stamped the single cassette in the top corner of the card with London Fog (grey) Memento ink. I added some gems to the corners and used them as accents on the music box.
It's my nephew's birthday this month so I thought it would be fun to write his name and year of birth on the cassette.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.... and the Olympic's!! (Hub's has just told me Murray won Gold!!)
Ciao for now!Sandra x
