Hi folks! Boy have I missed blogging. Hope you are all well and that January has been a great start to the year for you. Here is a mini book of my daughter Isabelle that I made to showcase my Enchanted Forest stamp designs which are available on the Joanna Sheen website (here)
The front cover features the main fairy image from the 'magical day' set. I stamped, watercoloured and cut her out. I then inked her up with Stazon, layered on some crystal aurora fusible film and heated the film with a hot iron. The film is then a pleasure to cut through and adhere to my fairy.
Here is another shot of the fairy. Hopefully I have captured the beautiful sheen of the fusible film. I used my scalloped oval Nestabilities to die cut the frame. I added some prima flowers enhanced with flat back gems. All the elements were layered onto some ribbed Kraft card.
Here are the first two pages. Again I used the same fairy but this time she has just been watercoloured. The ladybird and sentiment are also from the 'magical Day' stamp set. The library card holder and tag are Sizzix dies. The beautiful pink backing paper that I have used throughout this project is printed from the Josephine Wall 'Enchanted Dreams' CD rom.
The fairy and sentiment are from the 'Enchanted' stamp set. I have also added a tiny butterfly which I made using a Martha Stewart punch.
I used the smaller fairy from the 'Enchanted' stamp set on this page. I finished the centre of the flowers off with liquid pearls.
Quite a minimal page here, with just the photo, a sentiment and the little character from the 'Magical Day' stamp set.
And finally the last page where I used the main fairy image from the 'funtime' stamp set. I punched and bound the mini book together using my Cinch and added ribbons to the spine.I've got lots of designs photographed and ready to share with you.... just hoping I'll have more time in February to blog.
Take care all.
Ciao for now!
