Hello folks! It's a Die'sire weekender over on Create and Craft. The lovely Leann Chivers is on right now demoing the fantastic accordion dies. I was privileged to be asked to create the sample to be used on the packaging :) The weekender includes the Christmas Overlays, which are stunning. I'm sure the beautiful swirly overlay I used above will be available soon. I also used some of Sheena's flower stamps which I stamped and watercoloured with my Spectrum Aquas. The letters are cut using the Die'sire lowercase alphabet dies through, my signature, funky foam. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I'm sure you are aware, I am super busy with all the gorgeous projects that my Design Teams require and have decided to concentrate on sharing my makes on Facebook and Pinterest. This will be my last blog post. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my loyal followers for the years of wonderful comments..... I hope you'll 'follow' me over on Facebook and Pinterest. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
See you there!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks!... I've been busy creating samples for the brilliant Crafter's Companion Weekender on Create and Craft today featuring the fantastic new dies 'Christmas Classiques' from he Die'sire range. I absolutely adore the amount of detail that they have managed to create with the tiny dies. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUCqAQVTA_i3LME3ULRKA314C5UC7hOy60smoAoNyr9gMqIPO4563268rZI5YWAummYBq8xeHzwY7x6pV_lJ6q4nd4dfAI08f5ZNRnMDnOWej274YQ3qo30xXH-yNoTlBifBpkwBMHYoGh/s1600/Fireplace+2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUCqAQVTA_i3LME3ULRKA314C5UC7hOy60smoAoNyr9gMqIPO4563268rZI5YWAummYBq8xeHzwY7x6pV_lJ6q4nd4dfAI08f5ZNRnMDnOWej274YQ3qo30xXH-yNoTlBifBpkwBMHYoGh/s320/Fireplace+2.png" width="270" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I decided to create and easel card using Kraft cardstock. I cut all the pieces out in Kraft card (except for the candlesticks which I cut from a tiny scrap of gold mirror card. I added the colour using a combination of my Spectrum Noir pens, white acrylic paint, mica paints and distress inks. I die cut the tiny flowers from red glitter card and added tiny gems to the centres. With the addition of some red ribbon my card was complete.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you are able to watch the shows on Create and Craft and grab your own set.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! It's nearly time for the fab new collection to be launched from Crafter's Companion. It's the beautiful 'Flight of Fantasy' collection with artwork by Morgan Fitszimons. I had so much fun colouring this image that I did it twice. For the larger one I used my Spectrum Noirs (just the BG's) and the smaller one I coloured with my Spectrum Aquas. I added a lick of iridescent gold acrylic paint to her wings on the smaller picture. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The lovely wood panel backing paper is printed from the CD rom.This will be useful for so many projects. The <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/papercraft-c2141/die-cutting-c349/diesire-c1994/diesire-classiques-c6488/classiques-spring-summer-collection-c7022/crafters-companion-diesire-classiques-spring-summer-dies-filigree-butterfly-die-p26710">filigree butterfly</a> was die cut from <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/crafters-companion-c25/paper-and-card-c52/essential-cardstock-c271/crafters-companion-kraft-cardstock-a4-pack-of-50-p24959">Kraft card</a> and I backed it with some teal vellum before adding a few tiny gems. The Grace Frame was cut from glitter paper, chopped in half and positioned behind the large panel. I just added a couple of scraps of ribbon and my card was complete. I was really pleased how this one turned out.... it's quite a big card for me, I usually work on a smaller scale.</div>

Hello folks! I hope you are enjoying Fiona's Scruffy Little Kitten shows on Create and Craft TV. Here is another one of the sample cards that I made. This time I stamped the image and watercoloured it with the Spectrum Aquas. A little ripping and tearing created the topper. I die cut the beautiful Chantilly Lace die from centura pearl card and embossed the base layer with <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/embossalicious-c5909/embossalicious-6-x-6-embossing-folders-c5910/embossalicious-everyday-c5911/crafters-companion-embossalicious-sugar-and-spice-embossing-folder-8x8-flutterby-butterfly-p26183">flutterby butterfly Die'sire embossing folder. </a> </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The flowers I printed from the Scruffy Little Kitten CD rom, cut out, inked and shaped before adhering in a big cluster towards the bottom of the card on top of the large ribbon bow. A few gems and some Ice Stickles finish off the card.</div>

I just adore little Charlie, with his boots and his watering can. I thought he would look cute in a <a href="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/popupboxcard/">box card</a>. I stamped, watercoloured with Spectrum Aquas, and cut out the images. The flowers are actually stamped from some of the 'girl' stamps from the set.... they are snipped from the hair and clothing accessories. I stamped the sentiment onto Kraft card, cut it out and curled he edges. I glued it to a wooden coffee stirrer before adhering to the card. I added a few butterflies on some bendy acetate so they boing about and look like they are fluttering. With a little ribbon here and there... my card is finished.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I know I'm a big kid but I still get really excited to see my cards on Create and Craft :) </div>

The page I am sharing today is one of the samples that I made for Sara Davies to take to America for her Home Shopping Network Show earlier this month. I took an 8"x 8" piece of Kraft card and stamped the background with the tiny flower cluster from the <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/sheena-douglass-c1436/a-little-bit-sketchy-c2279/sheena-douglass-a-little-bit-sketchy-a5-stamp-set-always-floral-p21193">Always Floral </a>Little bit Sketchy stamp set with Versamark to create the subtle watermark look. I then popped a tiny bit of glitter in the centre of each flower. I punched the photomat with my favourite EK Sucess boarder punch. I also added some ribbon to the frame to add more texture.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/sheena-douglass-c1436/a-little-bit-sketchy-c2279/sheena-douglass-a-little-bit-sketchy-a5-stamp-set-always-floral-p21193">flowers</a> I stamped and embossed onto coloured vellum. I cut these out and gently shaped them before adhereing. I stamped the <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/sheena-douglass-c1436/a-little-bit-sketchy-c2279/sheena-douglass-a-little-bit-sketchy-a5-stamp-set-always-floral-p21193">vines</a> and leaves onto Kraft card and coloured with the Spectrum Noir colouring pencils before cutting out; gently shaping and adhering to the layout. I added brown gems to the centre of the flowers. The butterfly is made in the same way as the vines, but this time I added brown glitter (you can really see it in the middle picture. Then I added, my signature, funky foam die cut letters for a title that simply says 'Isabelle' I used the <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/diesire-c5894/diesire-alphabet-dies-c5908/crafters-companion-diesire-die-alphabet-lowercase-1-inch-die-p24723">Die'sire lowercase alphabet die set</a> and because I haven't got the Upper case set yet, I chopped down the 'H' in the Die'sire 'Happy Birthday' sentiment to create my capital 'I'. I finished off the page by adding a large bow.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm going to have to make another one of these to add to my own collection as I love it so much :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ciao for now!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! Here is my version of the ever popular oriental screen card. I started by accordian folding some Kraft card. I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the rectangle panels. I used a label die to cut out the shape at the bottom of the screen and form the feet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmV9U9GYYijTjg2amCuhAAA1CdfZJYggwNAj0AryyKbJBd_e4maQOFqPJSfLO8nYpTpfPVvT_tXg92PaofexUAOXKDYJKHVnT6cS_itY8spg05tB5Bpeq6ppiZl7YD-mr63l7cjPSyQrCN/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+4,+a,+Watermarked.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmV9U9GYYijTjg2amCuhAAA1CdfZJYggwNAj0AryyKbJBd_e4maQOFqPJSfLO8nYpTpfPVvT_tXg92PaofexUAOXKDYJKHVnT6cS_itY8spg05tB5Bpeq6ppiZl7YD-mr63l7cjPSyQrCN/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+4,+a,+Watermarked.png" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I embossed some parchment with the Oriental Birdcage embossing folder from the Kimono range, glittered some of the embossed areas and adhered to the apertures using red liner tape.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL-RZDWfHDuGHcwhoPlq8wm23upFNg56DKeKd9DFieB8vETdpJPu_f919YhKVlLTVTMImqkB10uFUw4V9eonuKsZh2D680gRkeocMx1QMJz5pkc84EEymsmMYJ9hE4YZNyVY6LV1q7MEMZ/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+4,+b,+Watermarked.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL-RZDWfHDuGHcwhoPlq8wm23upFNg56DKeKd9DFieB8vETdpJPu_f919YhKVlLTVTMImqkB10uFUw4V9eonuKsZh2D680gRkeocMx1QMJz5pkc84EEymsmMYJ9hE4YZNyVY6LV1q7MEMZ/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+4,+b,+Watermarked.png" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I stamped the beautiful images, from the Butterfly Silk stamp set and the Lotus Flower stamp set, onto watercolour card an painted them with my Spectrum Aqua markers. I cut them out by hand and glued them into place.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkg5DqTtp2iYIQK0uBrc9NqnO_ze8J1UDxmIeWt8rFsdQqd3HP5yKHpGJDLExTM5jsuCpdN0_xezz9u10SPqEso0L-n8OVzmrx8gCYk-q8twLG_1RU8Jz_r4N-rKQjqUycHTm40_N-p025/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+4,+c,+Watermarked.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkg5DqTtp2iYIQK0uBrc9NqnO_ze8J1UDxmIeWt8rFsdQqd3HP5yKHpGJDLExTM5jsuCpdN0_xezz9u10SPqEso0L-n8OVzmrx8gCYk-q8twLG_1RU8Jz_r4N-rKQjqUycHTm40_N-p025/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+4,+c,+Watermarked.png" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Branch and blossoms were also die cut from watercolour card and painted with Spec.Aquas, then shaped and adhered into place. I took care not to place the branches across the centre folds so that the card can still accordian fold up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I think the the deal on Create and Craft is limited stock... so head on over of you would like your very own collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ciao for now! </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! Here is another card I made using the Kimono dies launched today on Create and Craft tv by Crafter's Companion. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVN60KNan_eFY7MyAu-SbB44SEHodfpLR8hA2BqZJfh2nmhfx5rfeyRyRTsQv6ujHSVo0N7eLybuL5FuuLvnCR9nH4OvmJRa8_QzT-D2ByvauI5NFHAkhyphenhyphenK38TMj9slRY1kUip7nyWixPL/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+3,+b,+Watermarked.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVN60KNan_eFY7MyAu-SbB44SEHodfpLR8hA2BqZJfh2nmhfx5rfeyRyRTsQv6ujHSVo0N7eLybuL5FuuLvnCR9nH4OvmJRa8_QzT-D2ByvauI5NFHAkhyphenhyphenK38TMj9slRY1kUip7nyWixPL/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+3,+b,+Watermarked.png" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I inked the Oriental Screen embossing folder with versamark before embossing and then heating detail gold embossing power. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOS-tlOTyhRVzMLkLWPFrrpxX6pf9U6Shd4Nn-3azD9WLFDdb-LdsYpCdwCYvEISD6ybrYV4qEe67jNdkQ6JAxIQdMsL2RKOKecwb1FT1nyq8bIB6wJIIaLLrI-TqTHDFa4wuRx89fxrff/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+3,+a,+Watermarked.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOS-tlOTyhRVzMLkLWPFrrpxX6pf9U6Shd4Nn-3azD9WLFDdb-LdsYpCdwCYvEISD6ybrYV4qEe67jNdkQ6JAxIQdMsL2RKOKecwb1FT1nyq8bIB6wJIIaLLrI-TqTHDFa4wuRx89fxrff/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+3,+a,+Watermarked.png" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I made the vase by cutting down a couple of the Kimono dies (Birdcage and Oval Lantern), adding colour with my Spectrum Aqua pens, inking the edges and adhering to some acetate that I had coloured with Spectrum Noir markers to look like water. I also used the Branch die and the sentiment is stamped from the Lotus flower stamp set. For the centre of the flowers I just blobbed some Collall 3D glue gel and sprinkled with glitter. I finished off the card by adding a few gems.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sara is back on Create and Craft at 9am with this fantastic 4 Day Deal. Don't miss out if you want yours.... they're selling fast.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! I am absolutely thrilled and excited to announce that I have been invited to join the fabulous Die'sire Design team. It has been a pleasure to create my first collection for the team using the beautiful Kimono dies that are being launched on Create and Craft tv on Monday at 8am </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisMvV5dW0ij79RxfZAl7GrNnnYcAt-4nWyNLD2VtsDqAprc6bZV1y0ygRw6iW5cbs4ZCc4DcxUIypYYrrENPkn4VbqwWdWjg22G7Rs6FmEqsxbs_xQkrEu6IQGnwiyFiEU3S2w3xeN9l2h/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+2,+a,+Watermarked.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisMvV5dW0ij79RxfZAl7GrNnnYcAt-4nWyNLD2VtsDqAprc6bZV1y0ygRw6iW5cbs4ZCc4DcxUIypYYrrENPkn4VbqwWdWjg22G7Rs6FmEqsxbs_xQkrEu6IQGnwiyFiEU3S2w3xeN9l2h/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+2,+a,+Watermarked.png" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I made the shaped card using Kraft cardstock. I watercoloured the background using <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/crafters-companion-c25/spectrum-aqua-c6971">Spectrum Aqua markers</a> and embossed it with the Peacock feathers embossing folder. I rubbed over a little <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/pebeo-paints-c6007/pebeo-gilding-wax-renaissance-gold-p22253">Renaissance Gold Guilding wax</a>. I stamped the sentiment from the Porcelain stamp set and cut it out using a label die. I coloured the beautiful butterfly fan die with coloured glitters and layered it on top of a 3D fan created using the Tim Holtz Rosette die. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhtdzRJPl0tTaQJ6hP-P16nCn05i2WxTKYS551E1qKkB5deXLqmr9wNbxkz1aBCpKhpqVtHDZd6Vm26jTy3D5Z-dgPBOZRsK2kzz3FgyPvA0CjBZpW4z5h4eFt9HQnihdQJ2o28zDUp2i2/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+2,+b,+Watermarked.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhtdzRJPl0tTaQJ6hP-P16nCn05i2WxTKYS551E1qKkB5deXLqmr9wNbxkz1aBCpKhpqVtHDZd6Vm26jTy3D5Z-dgPBOZRsK2kzz3FgyPvA0CjBZpW4z5h4eFt9HQnihdQJ2o28zDUp2i2/s1600/Sandra+Dry,+Kimono,+Card+2,+b,+Watermarked.png" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I coloured the branch and small blossoms with the Aqua Markers and the Peacock die with coloured glitter. I finished off the card with a few tiny gems and some cream ribbon.<br />
I hope you are able to join Sara and Fiona for this fabulous launch.<br />
Ciao for now!<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi folks! I hope you are all fine and dandy. There is another beautiful layout to scraplift over on <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/s-is-for-squares.html">Scrapology</a>. It is by the Australian designer Melinda Spinks and I just adore it. I created my layout using Serif Craft Artist. It was such fun making the little squares and layering them all up. When I get the chance I am going to create this layout again but thins time not digitally!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you can join in with the challenge. The original layout is <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/s-is-for-squares.html">here</a>... and also the beautiful pages created by my talented fellow DT members. There is also a prize up for grabs too :)</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! I had so much fun making this photo frame for the recent launch of the new texture embossing folders by Crafter's Companion. The photo is of my friend Helen (whose birthday it is today *waves*) and me!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2JbYJit4bXZKubn3nssFEOOyBwxwyZvqLkki6SzP4LKaEGgNNziqVNkUFqlINHceO79LU0qfTXIfL5WgNlzbn3JmWstl6jmdrC9c_X_DDR8n5zNiedsIk-wkDYEQr_0uzx1x0NbwEfOPj/s1600/Photo+frame+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2JbYJit4bXZKubn3nssFEOOyBwxwyZvqLkki6SzP4LKaEGgNNziqVNkUFqlINHceO79LU0qfTXIfL5WgNlzbn3JmWstl6jmdrC9c_X_DDR8n5zNiedsIk-wkDYEQr_0uzx1x0NbwEfOPj/s1600/Photo+frame+2.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I lightly painted over some <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/crafters-companion-c25/paper-and-card-c52/essential-cardstock-c271/crafters-companion-kraft-cardstock-a4-pack-of-50-p24959">Kraft Cardstock</a> with white<a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/pebeo-paints-c6007/pebeo-studio-acrylics-gesso-white-p26568"> gesso </a>and little touches of pebeo iridescent blue green acrylic paint. I then embossed it using the <a href="http://i%20embossed%20some%20kraft%20cardstock%20using%20the%20wood%20grain%20embossing%20folder%20and/">Wood Grain Embossing folder</a> and mitred the corners to create the frame. I lightly went over with some walnut stain distress ink to bring out the grain. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiI1E01pD1pK6yBM2yufbMGy_E1qiPrWBN6iWb3vj2i1RNhffwMfxgbh0bhNr3oIWi2SWuQmZCHyeJE5vZH5ZZQKeCrRFLD80_5OkumzkKl__VuYz7xAFJrHIcBayO46orCrK4cF3XSR_xI/s1600/Photo+frame+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiI1E01pD1pK6yBM2yufbMGy_E1qiPrWBN6iWb3vj2i1RNhffwMfxgbh0bhNr3oIWi2SWuQmZCHyeJE5vZH5ZZQKeCrRFLD80_5OkumzkKl__VuYz7xAFJrHIcBayO46orCrK4cF3XSR_xI/s1600/Photo+frame+3.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I created the beautiful flower using the <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/new-c2158/new-products-c848/sheena-douglass-decorative-thin-metal-die-wild-rose-die-p26487">Wild Rose die set</a> by Sheena Douglass. I die cut the flower and leaves out of more Kraft Cardstock ( the dies cut effortlessly) I painted them with more of the iridescent acrylics and gave them a quick blast from my heat gun to dry before shaping each layer and adhering with my trusty hot melt glue gun. The leaves and vines are from the same set and created in the same way. For the centre of the flower I just added a huge blob of <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/collall-c2520/collall-3d-glue-gel-with-tools-2-pack-p22165">collall glue gel</a> and covered it with glitter. Finally I die cut the sentiment from funky foam and covered that with glitter too. </div>

Ciao for now!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! If you'd like to join in with the <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/l-is-for-lots-of-letters.html">January challenge over on Scrapology</a> then you have until the 5th Feb to submit your entry. There is a wonderful page to scraplift by the American scrapbook artist Laura Vegas and the additional requisite is to include lots of letters. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNs3S3_z7KlWLcJnDgdTlQhmde3lpVP0VAyUkqDotQgT3mvV7v-ezgrKVc7BtRac3VQ-rv7GFZ3juJltkBpnceZfP5Dqmj0xta2Hr6pYVsGSrW7IzxeGVGia-NAMWsZkDa_NmnBl4RK5sP/s1600/Smile+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNs3S3_z7KlWLcJnDgdTlQhmde3lpVP0VAyUkqDotQgT3mvV7v-ezgrKVc7BtRac3VQ-rv7GFZ3juJltkBpnceZfP5Dqmj0xta2Hr6pYVsGSrW7IzxeGVGia-NAMWsZkDa_NmnBl4RK5sP/s1600/Smile+2.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For my page I used papers from Heartfelt Creations and followed the layout quite closely. I die cut all my letters from funky foam using a variety of alphabet dies. I punched a small scalloped boarder on the photo mat and added tiny pink gems to each scallop. The larger scalloped pieces at the bottom right were chipboard that I covered with patterned paper before adding the gems. I also covered the word 'WORLD' with brown glitter and used Stickles on 'SMILES' and 'TOO'. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWx3sGHWHifnmdKM96LYmRpPs5myYA0bos0PkXqIHsG-_-yi_Wd_qDwa2juL8pTjU6gmh3eS0tTCwXVLCdrhzFRzFSQS4BfIEY3p9FgeHU3qifsdthXlzQCE2gnIGbjU1s10izwWSQ-Log/s1600/Smile+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWx3sGHWHifnmdKM96LYmRpPs5myYA0bos0PkXqIHsG-_-yi_Wd_qDwa2juL8pTjU6gmh3eS0tTCwXVLCdrhzFRzFSQS4BfIEY3p9FgeHU3qifsdthXlzQCE2gnIGbjU1s10izwWSQ-Log/s1600/Smile+3.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I very much liked the trees on Laura's page and set about to create some with a similar feel. I cut the tops of the trees using Nestabilities from the patterned papers and the tree trunks from Kraft card using a Quickutz die that I have had for years! I finished them off with some more gems.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The page looked quite dark until I added all the bling ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you have a chance to join in with this great challenge. There is some inspirational pages created by my fellow DT over on the blog for more ideas for your creation.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ciao for now!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! I hope you are fine and dandy. Sheena Douglass is on <a href="http://www.createandcraft.tv/">Create and Craft</a> tomorrow at 9am and 4pm with her fabulous <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/shop-by-brand-c2159/sheena-douglass-c892/sheena-douglass-perfect-partners-dies-and-stamps-c6958">'Perfect Partners' range</a>. Its the first time that Sheena has designed stamps to go perfectly with her stamp designs. I have to it has been an absolute pleasure creating my DT samples with them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I used Kraft card for the base of my card. I spritzed and dripped some mica sprays directly onto it. I created the flower by stamping then die cutting the large flower and leaf shape onto coloured card. I enhanced the colour by adding some detail with twinkling H2O's and the petals with spray and sparkle. The tiny flowers I simply die cut from glitter card and added them to my design. I finished the card off by adding a stamped sentiment and some gems.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you are able to watch the shows and see Sheena demoing these fabulous products.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
It's been a difficult few months here in the Dry household, hence my absence from blogland. My friends from facebook will already know our sad news that my wonderful Mum-in-law, Pamela Dry, was promoted to Glory on 17th December 2014. We have the funeral and Thanks Giving Service on Monday 5th Jan.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I wanted to share my DT contribution to the Scrapology challenge for November which is still running for a few more days (<a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/5-of-anything.html">details here</a>) There is a cracking prize up for grabs and my fellow DT have excelled themselves with their fabulous pages if you need some more inspiration. I've gone digital with my layout this month and used my Serif Craft Artist software and 'Pin Up Starlet' kit to create it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I hope you have a chance to join in with this fun challenge.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy New Year.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! There is another fantastic challenge over on <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/h-is-for-hearts.html">Scrapology</a>. This time we are scraplifting the talented <a href="http://kalahenscrapjoy.blogspot.co.uk/">Carmen Crosseti Henriquez.</a> Hop on over to see the fantastic page that inspired the design team to create such a variety of layouts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipRkoclu2NJhNj5czQ6nmrsCG0NzWXQsTpZidjmgg98VSN3R8Lk5534AT_hhX-l0CcQjglDMjmrcNy1jccMAqndcNm2TDq9jCk8YYarRoM6ZvQlvNs_ou1S9t-ajNrUt3pLV92MuTuMJJ7/s1600/Isabelle+2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipRkoclu2NJhNj5czQ6nmrsCG0NzWXQsTpZidjmgg98VSN3R8Lk5534AT_hhX-l0CcQjglDMjmrcNy1jccMAqndcNm2TDq9jCk8YYarRoM6ZvQlvNs_ou1S9t-ajNrUt3pLV92MuTuMJJ7/s1600/Isabelle+2.png" height="320" width="232" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The patterned papers are by Dove Craft. I cut the layered frame and the letters for 'Isabelle' using my Cricut. The ribbon and Princess rub-on are from my DCWV 'Once Upon a Time' stash. The flowers are a mixture of Kaisercraft and others from my flower box.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I used my Martha Stewart punch to punch out vellum hearts which I coloured with alcohol markers. I glittered the edges before hand stitching them in place. I added green gems to the die cut frame and crystal lacquer to the frog and the castle on the patterned paper.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you have a chance to join in with the challenge... there is a super prize up for grabs. 2 mini scrapbooks and lots lots more!</div>

Ciao for now :)</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! There is still lots of time to join in with the October card challenge over on <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/card-challenge-of-october.html">Scrapology</a>. This month we are sponsored by <a href="http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/">Crafts-U-Love</a> who have challenged us to use Blue & Silver to create a Christmas card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXnU0ZM-ZC5v7S99kdpedOu0yrBDi0sGUKEwyvVpdzIY0kIeWtegNG5nGjpF3aAxk30g79NhHrJz1YNuKPgrQVAPPlkWOfcewcnI8qoAMDYcBQoOWyc45R9knJhxRlUs8aflVxu8HKAymp/s1600/Isabelle+Christmas+Card+2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXnU0ZM-ZC5v7S99kdpedOu0yrBDi0sGUKEwyvVpdzIY0kIeWtegNG5nGjpF3aAxk30g79NhHrJz1YNuKPgrQVAPPlkWOfcewcnI8qoAMDYcBQoOWyc45R9knJhxRlUs8aflVxu8HKAymp/s1600/Isabelle+Christmas+Card+2.png" height="320" width="256" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This is the first Christmas card I've made this year..... I'm way behind schedule already. I made a 4.5"x 4.5" easel card and covered the front and base faces with patterned papers. I stamped the sentiment (<a href="http://www.merlyimpressions.co.uk/clear-stamps/6146-clear-stamp-magic-of-christmas-883416361343.html">Kaisercraft</a>) with silver Wow embossing powder. I matted it onto some sliver glitter paper and shaped before adhering to the card. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZe4CbY-5PJGMLIFJ0LkAtVlz7c2c9UfzVpgJ3oHJTUuZro3C1XvB9A2YnqiSqjsBpBrToc5Ad0PkfaqmvC-uwpmIaYGXwKYsxLXtNHAfW210rA6MVBMg4yw0999W0MlyQV-EhlAHp1b_b/s1600/Isabelle+Christmas+Card+3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZe4CbY-5PJGMLIFJ0LkAtVlz7c2c9UfzVpgJ3oHJTUuZro3C1XvB9A2YnqiSqjsBpBrToc5Ad0PkfaqmvC-uwpmIaYGXwKYsxLXtNHAfW210rA6MVBMg4yw0999W0MlyQV-EhlAHp1b_b/s1600/Isabelle+Christmas+Card+3.png" height="320" width="243" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I die cut the snowflakes from Silver glitter paper using my Die'sire dies and tucked them into place. The beautiful little character is a Mo Manning stamp that I coloured with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I die cut 'Isabelle' from white funky foam and glittered each letter as well as parts of the character. I added a bow and some large AB gems to finish the card off.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you are able to join in with this challenge. <a href="http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/">Crafts-U-Love</a> have offered a £10 gift voucher for the winner. If you haven't already started making your Christmas cards, this might just be the kick start you need :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ciao for now!</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSx8VsHd77se881pAaPjbXep2az8LiWoVjlt17bYjamt388_WwtFRPBRvVtJpSlcU4szLNy4iwUwUoKdqkWNHVewdIc-adZoUvE3fqeDrjNwvrA-IPhZF5MX-2OdxvQu3XGDrL2uU9p8no/s1600/Tommy+3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSx8VsHd77se881pAaPjbXep2az8LiWoVjlt17bYjamt388_WwtFRPBRvVtJpSlcU4szLNy4iwUwUoKdqkWNHVewdIc-adZoUvE3fqeDrjNwvrA-IPhZF5MX-2OdxvQu3XGDrL2uU9p8no/s1600/Tommy+3.png" height="320" width="205" /></a></div>
I die cut the curly vines using a Quickutz die and covered each vine with brown glitter.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjb6OzYwY3e5dQzYfxfiASUV-qA6Ndf62zMiRvbwWdAdB030bNZHh4p0oM1Nz8hR2kVYDbwu-U-yWD2SOf2wS2Yg3KIyHFDQyuqR2s16Ot5zRLUFSsMEdOjdkXnQqZuytoxmr-zOSFegiP/s1600/Tommy+4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjb6OzYwY3e5dQzYfxfiASUV-qA6Ndf62zMiRvbwWdAdB030bNZHh4p0oM1Nz8hR2kVYDbwu-U-yWD2SOf2wS2Yg3KIyHFDQyuqR2s16Ot5zRLUFSsMEdOjdkXnQqZuytoxmr-zOSFegiP/s1600/Tommy+4.png" height="228" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I created the notepaper by punching holes along some Kraft card with my Crop-a-dile and ripping each hole open to the edge of the card. It looked just like I had ripped the paper out of a notepad. I used my Scan N Cut to cut a stencil of 'Tommy' which I used by rubbing ink through and then carefully covering the stencilled letters with crystal lacquer.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! Well I had fabby fun creating this page with the new Christmas Stamps being launched by Sheena Douglass later today on <a href="http://www.createandcraft.tv/">Create and Craft.</a> I stamped all around the edge of the page with the border stamp after inking the edges with Walnut Stain distress ink. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3OVpf4RlkNf6sazloicBK-IemKR0qn2nERU8BcOg3TNdPZj38JpskhD_8VBFvTL0XUVUm61mV0MSmVXBjhjSvtKsc3hYEelIN2WxffQFZ7irWmwWeSS4paySRW9E-wZdER59Hzv6UTxrR/s1600/Christmas+Cutie+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3OVpf4RlkNf6sazloicBK-IemKR0qn2nERU8BcOg3TNdPZj38JpskhD_8VBFvTL0XUVUm61mV0MSmVXBjhjSvtKsc3hYEelIN2WxffQFZ7irWmwWeSS4paySRW9E-wZdER59Hzv6UTxrR/s1600/Christmas+Cutie+2.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I stamped the music stamp and cut it into strips before inking the edges and curling them around a pencil to form these wonderful scrolls. In the photo above you can clearly see the little dabs of gold Stickles that I added to the border stamp.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtt0w52hlKNvs4lRjIJ3ixGJv8GXoS-RY1myNi_tth54-4CHeubgsbBQF6jyPj_P-VoGCOTTRpIPCqWg3DNIquzidVHugsX0Vyji9sGGPVNEf1ZUAIdP7zuLhwfNzYToGntgSaz0ShrW99/s1600/Christmas+Cutie+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtt0w52hlKNvs4lRjIJ3ixGJv8GXoS-RY1myNi_tth54-4CHeubgsbBQF6jyPj_P-VoGCOTTRpIPCqWg3DNIquzidVHugsX0Vyji9sGGPVNEf1ZUAIdP7zuLhwfNzYToGntgSaz0ShrW99/s1600/Christmas+Cutie+3.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I cut the title from gold miri card on my Brother Scan'n'Cut.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD_g8ZezU12kZ0SyecjAG0VZdM09Lhsd4hyphenhyphenL6jH_lynw4vmGv5eH_YQskvyOJdBqweyHtX_2t-g9b-Gay76mFH4lwSd2G5GgYKQa5Tat9SR9mU9T2q0UbzB6H9VSKSI3GcKUS8Qc3Q59nR/s1600/Christmas+Cutie+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD_g8ZezU12kZ0SyecjAG0VZdM09Lhsd4hyphenhyphenL6jH_lynw4vmGv5eH_YQskvyOJdBqweyHtX_2t-g9b-Gay76mFH4lwSd2G5GgYKQa5Tat9SR9mU9T2q0UbzB6H9VSKSI3GcKUS8Qc3Q59nR/s1600/Christmas+Cutie+4.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I feather cut some of the little fir stamped images before adhering them to the page to give more texture. I used a Spellbinder label to create the journalling tag. I formed clusters of 3 little flat backed red pearls for the berries. I love this seasonal snap of Isabelle.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I hope you can join Sheena at 11am on <a href="http://www.createandcraft.tv/">Create and Craft (Sky 671)</a> for the launch of her Christmas collection and more samples created by myself and the rest of the Design team.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi Folks! Last weekend I was fortunate enough to go to the <a href="http://www.merlyimpressions.co.uk/blog/merly-impressions-summer-2014-retreat/">Merly Impressions Summer retreat</a>. I had an amazing time with crafty friends old and new. This is one of the layout kits (designed by <a href="http://www.merlyimpressions.co.uk/blog/author/pam/">Pam Thorburn</a>) which uses the Kaisercraft '<a href="http://www.merlyimpressions.co.uk/714-blubelle-from-kaisercraft">Blubelle</a>' collection. I've popped Pam's original page towards the end of this post.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtPLyIGzb7bBktf35WCqvECVFnzsM43heCVYrL-2oI_0v55-PQo9OTBVWxy67YMVnEc5BPA8MlULDb8D1NWdG6N-D02HrxqC3ihi8a50HzXT9TijNERj2X7Omplx0-vrQtyRAR-7G7Ejum/s1600/Family+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtPLyIGzb7bBktf35WCqvECVFnzsM43heCVYrL-2oI_0v55-PQo9OTBVWxy67YMVnEc5BPA8MlULDb8D1NWdG6N-D02HrxqC3ihi8a50HzXT9TijNERj2X7Omplx0-vrQtyRAR-7G7Ejum/s1600/Family+2.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I decided that I would use my new 'Heartfelt Creations' flower stamps and dies for this page. I stamped, die cut, inked, shaped and layered up the flowers. I cut the final layer from glitter cardstock and added gems. I also added glitter to the die cut leaves. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisO8KAvv_sQPCKLM2D07AE20Htvh62a3LJxPf5PrDvl8yGgrS88R1wEYTlOiBBrv6wQQvgtSv-96XIcJe_aykhxXA8dM0G850ek9gnbhXm6t1y_lNctBOWWBS1b4kFstsAZ6Q642yb8Rcp/s1600/Family+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisO8KAvv_sQPCKLM2D07AE20Htvh62a3LJxPf5PrDvl8yGgrS88R1wEYTlOiBBrv6wQQvgtSv-96XIcJe_aykhxXA8dM0G850ek9gnbhXm6t1y_lNctBOWWBS1b4kFstsAZ6Q642yb8Rcp/s1600/Family+3.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Here is another close up of another flower I made for the page. I cut the swirls from glitter cardstock and was grateful to borrow the decorative border punch from <a href="http://lindascards.blogspot.co.uk/">Linda</a>. You can just about see the doilies (Clearly Besotted stamps) I stamped on the base layer. If you would like to see any of these photos in more detail, you can click on the image to enlarge it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Above is Pam's original class page. I only managed to complete 3 out of the 5 layout kits that I had for the weekend. Hoping I'll find some time over the summer holidays to complete the others. I have to admit that I still have last years photo box to make!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ciao for now!</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! There is yet another wonderful scraplift challenge over on <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/t-is-for-trellis.html">Scrapology</a>. This time the additional challenge is to use Trellis. We are scraplifting the talented Gabrielle Pollacco.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
It took me an absolute age to finish this page. I just wasn't happy with it. Then I found the perfect acetate overlay in my stash; popped it over the patterned paper and underneath all the other elements on my page and it just seemed to work. I was much happier.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3q2MASD8SBb_cYITxUBktNlJD-HWOeDUg_6USgf2qXdHiWFv1SzEKQSVgnNGCegaWsk6U_QdZhK5cASPvOrE5rELYCwQYeMxnMnZcbk8N3LolwUeEhVyBMnWE87LrtPTXol0BcO5uBqOv/s1600/abuelas+garden+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3q2MASD8SBb_cYITxUBktNlJD-HWOeDUg_6USgf2qXdHiWFv1SzEKQSVgnNGCegaWsk6U_QdZhK5cASPvOrE5rELYCwQYeMxnMnZcbk8N3LolwUeEhVyBMnWE87LrtPTXol0BcO5uBqOv/s1600/abuelas+garden+3.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I cut the swirly heart on my Brother Scan'n'Cut on cream card, inked the edges and added gems.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLViC4hFcVj7NJb58r2OPHdMkYISTukVSorwqVRPi22XoYNghC4fNAUtRUGjI5ROl8MtvoBAdhazvmaeYaO8vEMukuWYbWlttZyLh4Vs7QIopBEV4N9QE9lzv8lkjwGKgX_9DO91bzEZBj/s1600/abuelas+garden+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLViC4hFcVj7NJb58r2OPHdMkYISTukVSorwqVRPi22XoYNghC4fNAUtRUGjI5ROl8MtvoBAdhazvmaeYaO8vEMukuWYbWlttZyLh4Vs7QIopBEV4N9QE9lzv8lkjwGKgX_9DO91bzEZBj/s1600/abuelas+garden+4.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I also cut the clock face on my BSC. Both of the die cut pieces seemed to get a bit lost on the busy background to I adhered some mulberry paper behind each piece and trimmed it down. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCxQd-3BQeJvgD8QqsB5fCjBTihZCKo1fl3Gc1uE82x7l_1tiMVOidiCY3oHbyMbCsfxsWrUyH5bEq3Ea1ovBFUI0HQ3tl3-Sde9odtjJMn7CGMLrYeONRMAGhZK1Y6W87EVVsSTQCC4Af/s1600/abuelas+garden+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCxQd-3BQeJvgD8QqsB5fCjBTihZCKo1fl3Gc1uE82x7l_1tiMVOidiCY3oHbyMbCsfxsWrUyH5bEq3Ea1ovBFUI0HQ3tl3-Sde9odtjJMn7CGMLrYeONRMAGhZK1Y6W87EVVsSTQCC4Af/s1600/abuelas+garden+5.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The papers I used were Graphic45. For a finishing touch I added plenty of flowers on wired stems that I had curled.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Please please pop over to the<a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/t-is-for-trellis.html"> Scrapology blog</a> and you will be inspired by the fabulous pages made by my fellow teamies. you will also see the great prize that is up for grabs.</div>

I made this Easel Box card following the tutorial by Donna Attwood and found <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/blog/blog/2014/03/drawer-easel-card-tutorial/">here</a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I can't seem to stop using 'black, white and red' at the moment. Just keep being drawn to it. I thought red glitter would be perfect for the Kingfisher's little cloak.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Sheena has added some fun and really useful quotes to these sets. Please, please check out my fellow DT 's blogs as they have created some amazing samples. Hope you are able to catch the shows.<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks!! There is still time to join in with this months fun challenge over on <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/c-is-for-corrugated-cardboard.html">Scrapology</a>. We are scraplifting the fabulous <a href="http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=541491">Tracy Christine Funk</a> from Ontario Canada with the added challenge of using corrugated card on our layouts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYUQMbTpxjidSmq9ES5sa-qudv6_LgUfc0zDQ02JZel8s2tPey0fHc-k9CE4JJQPxjFr5-Nsnq61kOQN5xegFLolLEh7XyzoTFN2tTQhjIpkuzbzRXLDU2ol_fW2ad68S3UM0mOwxN72nk/s1600/Heidi+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYUQMbTpxjidSmq9ES5sa-qudv6_LgUfc0zDQ02JZel8s2tPey0fHc-k9CE4JJQPxjFr5-Nsnq61kOQN5xegFLolLEh7XyzoTFN2tTQhjIpkuzbzRXLDU2ol_fW2ad68S3UM0mOwxN72nk/s1600/Heidi+2.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I decided to create this pretty layout, framing a photo of me meeting my friends daughter, Heidi, for the very first time. I used patterned papers by WRMK and die cut and punched various pieces to embellish the page. I spritzed white flowers with mica sprays and die cut the title from funky foam. I finished off the page with a few sparkly gems.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you can join in with this months challenge. You have until 5th June to submit your entry. There is a super prize up for grabs and lots of fabulous inspiration from my fellow Design Team members over on <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/c-is-for-corrugated-cardboard.html">the blog</a> to get your creative juices flowing :)</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! Hope you are all fine and dandy. I'm a bit under the weather at the mo but nothing that Lemsip and rest can't fix. There is a fun challenge over on <a href="http://scrapology-adventuresinscrapbooking.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/april-card-challenge-freebies.html">Scrapology</a> this month and that is to create a card using a 'freebie'. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZdqrBuime1rtEY57aWYESLDrm0X_pqUtrBdrtJs22bGTt3y6prEDbZQ-X55RmGIZrgiYySX_-tn8VcnXd3cPFypbms6qR9F9kuOJVkAPRavxnMWvCAcioGe4vi2xgo4yDrYWml_HAEJCr/s1600/Isabelle's+card+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZdqrBuime1rtEY57aWYESLDrm0X_pqUtrBdrtJs22bGTt3y6prEDbZQ-X55RmGIZrgiYySX_-tn8VcnXd3cPFypbms6qR9F9kuOJVkAPRavxnMWvCAcioGe4vi2xgo4yDrYWml_HAEJCr/s1600/Isabelle's+card+2.jpg" height="320" width="264" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I borrowed a freebie stamp, from the lovely Jackie, that came with a magazine. I coloured the adorable fairy using Copics (borrowed from the lovey Lynn) I die cut some glitter paper using a pretty butterfly border that I snipped and made to fit around the corner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEHwdHR_SJNVVRsJG7hMmFVIT2-_T0teQ21rayeLYxiYQF3LaiBMqeaOa5IaWhC-Hga-V1ac170DwkgSadymdObko6Zy6qZPbqxtwu1i-DBekq1rBZqg9yoa8JHyhi7AApARNAgn1g7DQM/s1600/Isabelle's+card+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEHwdHR_SJNVVRsJG7hMmFVIT2-_T0teQ21rayeLYxiYQF3LaiBMqeaOa5IaWhC-Hga-V1ac170DwkgSadymdObko6Zy6qZPbqxtwu1i-DBekq1rBZqg9yoa8JHyhi7AApARNAgn1g7DQM/s1600/Isabelle's+card+3.jpg" height="320" width="264" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I stamped and coloured the image twice so that I could cut the out fairy and decoupage her. I added a touch of glamour dust to her wings. The papers are from one of the Creata pads, which I cut into to tuck the topper into. I used hot melt glue to adhere the little bow that I used for the easel stopper. Lastly I die cut 'Isabelle' from funky foam and adhered to the base of the card. Isabelle was thrilled with her card and her twin brother Ben was pleased with his too :) They look great next to each other on the mantelpiece. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1qPTJRdEKME5WGUzXL6KSwiePq3DRpHSNuFXuKciQ_FRm26og-ubjbeo3ICBl4umdMI9Y7y_OrsxRFj3K9W8JIOkNFOqf06xcEqyVyusjld8tYOPxDUvmWuAuyAsLdLUOC8nvnNYuj-9V/s1600/Ben's+Birthday+card+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1qPTJRdEKME5WGUzXL6KSwiePq3DRpHSNuFXuKciQ_FRm26og-ubjbeo3ICBl4umdMI9Y7y_OrsxRFj3K9W8JIOkNFOqf06xcEqyVyusjld8tYOPxDUvmWuAuyAsLdLUOC8nvnNYuj-9V/s1600/Ben's+Birthday+card+1.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm sure, if you are a crafter, that you'll have lots of freebies that you have collected over the years. Why not put them to good use and challenge yourself to make a card that you can enter giving yourself a chance to win some fabulous crafting goodies. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! I hope you are enjoying Sheena's 4 Day Deal shows on Create and Craft. This is another card that I made for the shows. But what is this???? No ribbon???? No glitter??? I think I must have had a funny turn when creating this card ;)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY5O5vwcw7RPkWzVzBRxFqYTVP0mnrABqMEjJqzRTxEgrXzdaqcuIvyMtq-TgUmrK1oa_w6YWtwnrwV67eDOkBcVqp7UFFQk9uo9lrgDoIP08q3zvr1Iuk3GS-yfCvVQn3DuYomg3rUrbY/s1600/Bright+Flower+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY5O5vwcw7RPkWzVzBRxFqYTVP0mnrABqMEjJqzRTxEgrXzdaqcuIvyMtq-TgUmrK1oa_w6YWtwnrwV67eDOkBcVqp7UFFQk9uo9lrgDoIP08q3zvr1Iuk3GS-yfCvVQn3DuYomg3rUrbY/s1600/Bright+Flower+2.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I cut and scored a square card base from centura pearl card and embossed it with the leafy A4 embossing folder. I printed out the colourful backing paper and cut a scalloped frame using my Brother Scan N Cut. I then embossed the frame and inked the edges. I stamped the beautiful design and lots of extra flowers with grey ink and painted them with H2O's. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of the patterned paper and matted onto white centura pearl card. I cut all the stamped images out, shaped and inked them before adhering to the card. For the finishing touch I added gems to the centre of the flowers.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I had so much fun making this card. A real splash of colour.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ciao for now!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Hello folks! Just a quick post to remind you that Sheena's Taste of India 4 Day Deal is on NOW! on <a href="http://www.createandcraft.tv/homepage.aspx">Create and Craft TV</a> where they care currently celebrating their 11th birthday and you can take advantage of the FREE P&P. Here is a side stepper card that I made using the fabulous embossing folders and stamps. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhV_bOY__ul1RY_69x19M2yyF56lVihRc4z0turfl1yqo439xe7iyiG7ofF1Af3h5e0471ODnWwidFa8iFcw6oJH8f17efsnBzUlNTObPzpBvG6k2p-9z9yaSaUpknKss1zrKik1_4kceRX/s1600/Mandala+Arch+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhV_bOY__ul1RY_69x19M2yyF56lVihRc4z0turfl1yqo439xe7iyiG7ofF1Af3h5e0471ODnWwidFa8iFcw6oJH8f17efsnBzUlNTObPzpBvG6k2p-9z9yaSaUpknKss1zrKik1_4kceRX/s1600/Mandala+Arch+1.jpg" height="320" width="226" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I stamped the beautiful mandala image several times onto the back of centura pearl card and painted them using H20's. I cut them out and then went over all the black stamped lines with black glitter. I layered them up with dimensional glue gel and created two pieces to add to my card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX7mnrEWECzzhb9MWL1XxXlCJGixHcKltvQNlusG-YtyPhcaTgR7rOggrIFLaszmJJRUHXHgpMIfGksjBKbe8S1xWUU7iNn-5md_JhEZ-Ga_4gI2YCNsxyraf1jq7Zp4PV4b-7y7-ZO2MI/s1600/Mandala+Arch+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX7mnrEWECzzhb9MWL1XxXlCJGixHcKltvQNlusG-YtyPhcaTgR7rOggrIFLaszmJJRUHXHgpMIfGksjBKbe8S1xWUU7iNn-5md_JhEZ-Ga_4gI2YCNsxyraf1jq7Zp4PV4b-7y7-ZO2MI/s1600/Mandala+Arch+3.jpg" height="226" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I embossed some black card with the spectacular embossing folder. Before I popped it through my EBosser I swiped the inside of the folder with pale pink brilliance ink. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut it out with a Spellbinders label die. I created the mat for the label by drawing around the die and hand cutting it. I then glittered that layer before gluing together. The finishing touches were crystal rhinestones and ribbon....as always.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you have a chance to catch some of the shows and maybe treat yourself to some of the fabulous products.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ciao for now!</div>
