Dare U 2 Digi Stamp... Metal challenge

Hello folks! The Easter holidays have scrambled my brains... I don't know if I'm coming or going. Not sure how it happened but I've managed to loose a day this week??! So I have to apologise to Chris and my fellow teamies over on Dare U as I'm late with the fabulous 'Metal' Challenge.
The inspiration for this one came from a limited edition can of Diet Coke. The can itself was so pretty with it's pink pattern on the silver that I just had to die cut it. Which I did using Cuttlebug & Bosscut flower dies. I shaped them using a large embossing tool and my fingers. I embossed some black card using a Cuttlebug embossing folder and cut away some of the design. I added some pink and black animal print paper (Joanna Sheen) behind the aperture. I used silver metallic rub on over the whole design. I attached the little chain, that has been in my stash for years, with a couple of brads. I threaded some ribbon through a metal buckle and attached at the bottom of the card. I coloured Ruby with Copic Markers and adhered her with dimensional glue gel. I also used Glue gel to attach the flowers.
This is another small 4"x4" card.
I hope my brain gets into gear this week. It's another busy one for me. Friends are getting Married on Friday and it's the twins Birthday Party on Saturday so lots to do! Just received a delivery of a giant cupcake mold (doesn't look so GIANT to me.... )thinking of making 5 cakes as Ben & Isabelle are turning 5......am I a bit doolally?
Ciao for now!
Sandra x
