Multi Challenge Card :o)

Hi folks! Hope you are all well...I'm still recovering after the busy Craft Extravaganza last weekend. Great to meet so many crafters and demo alongside so many crafting legends! Thanks and *waves* to everyone who came and said "Hi". I'll be sharing some of my creations with you soon. You'll be able to see the rest on the Craft Barn blog.
Anyway, on to today's card. I made this one for my wonderful sister-in-law and followed no less than 6 challenges in the process. The sketch and 2 Magnolia Butterflies are for Just Magnolia, A Spoon Full Of Sugar wanted to see Butterflies, The Saturday Challenge wanted 'Bling' ( I have used foiled card and added glitter to the wings) Cute Card Thursday urged us to use punches/dies (I used my Nestabilities and Woodware leaf punch) Lili of The Valley has a theme of 'Summer fun' (nothing says 'Summer' to me more than fluttery butterflies) and lastly Charisma Cardz has the colour challenge of Pink & Brown.
All the card, patterned paper and sentiment are from Craftwork Cards. I die cut the aperture and sandwiched between the layers a piece of acetate that I had first stamped with a decorative swirl stamp and Stazon Ink. I tied the ribbon bow and ribbon around some of the layers before adding the scalloped frame. My gorgeous character is a Hanglar stamp, coloured using Copic Markers and glitter. I have used Prisma flowers and topped them with self adhesive pearls.
Ciao for now!

Countdown to the June Extravaganza!!!

Hi folks!!
Sorry I haven't been about much lately. I have been beavering away having fun creating with my new Kadoodle designs that are to be launched at the June Extravaganza at The Craft Barn Lingfield, this weekend! There are two new Loupy Lou designs and two new Larger Ladies (see bellow for sneaky peeks) So I will have lots to share with you soon.
I made this card following the Sketch over on LOTV challenge, Cute Daisy May wanted to see some embossing (My image has been heat embossed with black ink and clear embossing powder and I have used my Cuttlebug to emboss the red circles) Charisma Cardz want to see dots and circles and Cute Card Thursday would like a bit of bling. I used Art Institute Glitter to colour little Loupy Lou's outfit and wings.
Can you spot the designs above by my uber talented friend Christine Dark?? We'll both be demoing at the Show on Saturday and Sunday. Please come along and say hi.
Ciao for now!

Thank Heaven for You....

Hi folks!
Phew, what a weekend.... lots of working and driving kiddies to and from grandparents.  What would I do without m'Ma & Pa??  Hope you all had a lovely weekend and the weather didn't spoil your plans too much.
My card today is a multi-challenge card.  The Sketch is by the lovely Bev for Just Magnolia challenge,  the Saturday Challenge wants to see Flowers, Charisma Cards has a theme of 'Thank You' this week and Cute Card Thursday would like us to use something shiny for their 'Mirror, Mirror' theme.
I know I have only recently made a card with these Imagininsce papers, they were still on my desk and crying out to be used on this card.  I have also used my Nestabilities, Martha Stewart border punch and Doodlebug paper frills.  The swirl in the corner is an adhesive sheet, die cut with a Quickutz revolution die and sprinkled with glitter.  I added flower gems and leaves.  I coloured the cute Tilda Magnolia image with Copics, Koi watercolours and glitter.  The sentiment is from a Precious Moments angel set that I have.  There are lots of 'shiny' bits to this card, the glitter, the gems and the mirri card.
Hope you like it.
Ciao for now!

Introducing the Meerkats...Simples!

Hi folks!!
I've been meaning to draw these little fellas for a while now. The Meerkats are available now on my Digi Stamp blog. Hop on over to meet Meerkat Amigos, Meerkat Dancer and Meerkat Youngster. Something a little bit different that can be used for male cards too.

I followed three challenges when making this card. The sketch is another great one from Friday Sketchers. Cute Card Thursday's theme is 'family affair' they are asking for cards made for a member of the family, here I have made a card for Dad. Lastly Charisma Cardz have challenges us to use our favourite things. My favorite thing at the moment is making cards with my vary latest digi stamp releases.
The papers and tag embellishment are all K&Co. I have used my Nestabilities and WRMK compass cutter to cut the circles. All the embossing has been done on my Cuttlebug. I printed 'Love You Dad' on some ribbon using my Xyron Design Runner and cut the sentiment from funky foam using 'Amsterdam' a Go-kreate alphabet. As I have already mentioned 'Meerkat Simples!' is a digi-stamp and I have coloured him using koi watercolours. I have added glossy accents to his eyes and nose. Don't forget you can re size Digi stamps and print them out to whatever size suits your project.
I hope you like my Meerkats and look forward to reading your comments.
Ciao for now!

Kadoodle blog Candy and Charisma Cardz Challenge

Hi folks!
Here's a card I made using one of my new Kadoodle designs 'let it grow'. This particular stamp is being offered as blog candy over on the Kadoodle blog. Hop on over if you would like to enter. It's open until Friday as new candy will be up again on Saturday. Good job it's not 'Sweetie' candy, our teeth would have rotted away ages ago.
I am entering this card in to the Charisma Cardz Challenge as this week the theme is 'something for the guys'. Have lost the label strip for the patterned papers, sorry, but I know they are available from The Craft Barn. I cut the rectangles and scalloped rectangles using my Nestabilities. The flowers are made using a Cuttlebug retro flower die set. They have been die cut, inked, curled glued and finished off with a self adhesive pearl. I looped some green ribbon and poked it into the dimensional glue behind the flowers. The sentiment is die cut funky foam and I have used the Go-Kreate 'London' alphabet. I coloured the image using a mixture of copics and watercolour paints. (I have to make do with this combination until I am able to buy more copics)
Ciao for now ;o)

Gorjuss Girls

Hi folks!!
I know, I know.... I don't do yellow... normally, but I just love these hot and spicy shades in the K&Co Mira kit. For this card I followed the sketch on the Truly Scrumptious Challenge blog. I am also entering this card to Cute Card Thursday and Charisma Cardz Challenges as they have both set the theme of animals.

I have already mentioned the papers I used for this card. The oval and scalloped oval were cut using my Nestabilities. The flower, which is made of tiny beads and has a resplendent jewelled brad in the centre, the leaf branch and the sentiment are all K&Co embellishments. I cut the photo corners using a Quickutz die. The black ribbons and red brads are from my stash mountain. I coloured my Gorjuss Girl and kitty with Koi watercolours. I know the combination and shades of colours may not be to everyones' taste... but I think they are cute ;o)

That's all for now folks!

My New Kadoodle Designs Available Soon!

Introducing Loupy Lou and Bobo, my New Kadoodle rubber stamp designs that will be available exclusively at The Craft Barn. This collection will be launched on Saturday 28th February with free demos by Lexie Wilson at The Craft Barn.
This stamp is aptly named 'huggles' I thought it would be perfect for this weeks Charisma Cardz Challenge which is 'Hugs and Cuddles' and also the Cute Card Thursday Challenge of 'Signs of Spring'. I followed the wonderful sketch over on Cutie Sunday.

The designer papers are by 'My Mind's Eye'. Such gorgeous colours, I think you will agree. The circle and scalloped circle are cut using my Nestabilities. The embossing has been created using my Cuttlebug. I cut the flowers from some of the patterned paper. I added MM brads after shaping the flowers. The flourishes are Quickutz Revolution dies. All the elements are adhered using dimensional glue gel. I coloured the characters using my trusty Koi watercolours and a touch of Art institute glitter for Loupy Lou's wings. I finished off the card with a few faux pearls in the corners.
Hope you like Loupy Lou and Bobo... lots more of these stamps in the range.
Hugs

Something new and 3 challenges in 1

Hi Folks!!
Wow! What a fabulous day at The Craft Barn yesterday. Met lots more lovely crafters doing their second favorite thing... shopping for crafting goodies. But more about that and pictures of my demos later this week.
It's wet 'n' windy here on the usually sunny south coast which means more crafting for me! Yay! As the heading suggests I have combined 3 challenges with this card. For this weeks Basic Grey Challenge there is a recipe: 2 patterned papers (mine are from the BG sugared range, precious and charming.) 1 button (I have used a heart/love button) 1 ribbon and bow and lastly 3 brads. I am also entering the Charisma Cardz Challenge which has the theme of 'love and the lili of the valley' challenge which is 'Valentine'.

Don't you just adore my beautiful Rosabella? Bit bias here as I drew her... but I think she's lovely ;o) I've used my prismas, sansodor and paper stumps to colour her and I've added a touch of glitter to the detail on her delicate fairy wings. I used my nestabilities to cut the precious BG paper and inked the edges with my Brilliance dewdrop pads. That's pretty much it, so another simple card from me today.
Hugs
