Unconventional Christmas Card

Hello folks!  There's a great card challenge over on Scrapology this time set by Natalie O'Shea.  She'd like to see your unconventional Christmas cards. I thought that Sam Poole's fabulous footprint stamps (from the Urban Life stamp set) would look great stamped into some Artist Spackle sprinkled with glitter....... Santa's footprints in the snow.
The sentiment is a stamp found here.  I stamped and embossed in white onto black card and used my Nestabilites to die cut and layer up.  I added a hint of colour with the golden ribbon and red glitter.
I embossed a border of snowflakes on some white centura pearl card. On top of that I added a layer of red velvet paper.  I spread the Artist Spackle onto black card and made the footprint impressions with the boot stamps and I tore the top and bottom edges.  I wrapped some thin black ribbon around and added a small golden bow.  I tried to keep the colours to the ones associated with Santa's outfit.  Hopefully you can see the glitter on the photo above.
Here's a close up of the footprints.... I love how they turned out.  The Scrapology DT have come up with some really exciting 'unconventional' Christmas cards... don't miss them, head over here, you'll be surprised by what they have used.
That's another weekend nearly over. I hope you have had a good one.
Ciao for now!
