Hello folks!! 'O Happy Day' when my latest DT parcel arrived from Sam Poole with a set of fabulous clear Vintage Alphabet stamps amongst an array of lush ribbon and twine. My mind turned straight to scrapbooking.
I created an 8x8 page (I have a new 8x8 album I'm hoping to fill) using papers from WRMK's 'Good day Sunshine' range. The photo is of my little Isabelle at 16 months and my niece Iliana aged 7. This was the first time I could tie Isabelle's hair in a low ponytail.... apart from that scraggly bit at the front! I stamped the letters onto some of the card left over from making the flower. I cut each letter out and popped glossy accents on top and left to one side to dry.
I made the flower using various dies and inking the edges before shaping and adhering. I folded over some green spiders web; folded around the page and adhered on the reverse. I looped some twine around the spiders web and tied 3 bows. I popped some green gems on my bows. I just snipped some cream ribbon and glued in place before adhering the letters. I finished off by hand writing a little journalling.
I'm pleased that I used the flower... it was left over from another project which I'll be blogging soon (see if you can spot it ;)
Ciao for now!
