Dare U 2 Digi Stamp, Punches or Die Cuts

Hi folks! There's a new challenge over on Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and this time it's all about your punches or die cuts.... and of course your digital images. I hope you'll be able to join in. There is a prize up for grabs (please check the DU2DS for details) If you need some inspiration look no further than our fabulous design team who have created some wonderful cards.
The DU2DS team are going to miss the wonderfully gifted San who has decided to step down from the DT. Miss you already San!
For my card I have used Daisy and Dandelion snowflake paper and cut a circle aperture through the paper and card with my Nestability die. I adhered some patterned white vellum behind the aperture. Then I punched loads of medium and small white snowflakes. Each and every small snowflake I individually glittered I then layered the snowflakes up and glued them around the aperture. I recently discovered that you can buy sticky foam pads in A4 sheets which can be die cut using the Cuttlebug like a dream. I used this for the lettering and the corners (Quickutz) I then added glitter to the top layer of adhesive. My character is Holly and she is available on my Digi Stamp site here. I have coloured her using watercolours except for the fir trim on her clothing which I coloured using liquid pearls. I finished off by adding Glossy accents to her eyes (ooo that sounds painful but I can assure you, no digi images were harmed in the making of this card ;o)
Ciao for now!

wow fabulous - I adore what you have done with the snowflakes and an idea has sprung to mind for using the idea in a similar way. Hope that's okay with you - will give you credit for the inspiration.

You do the most amazing work - absolutely love what you do.

Sandra it was Diamond dust in my latest snowglobe - it moves better than the flowersoft.

I'll let you know when I've done my snowflake creation - you have really got me thinking on that fab effect you achieved.

Beautiful card Sandra. Glittering all those snowflakes must have been fiddly and time consuming-you have more patience than me! (Thank you for your lovely comments.)
