...and now for a bookmark!

Hello folks!  They're celebrating 10 years of UKScrappers with a fabulous cybercrop.  One of the challenges is to make a bookmark.  Fabulous fun as I actually need a bookmark at the moment, so this one's for me ;)
I got out my wonderful DT box of goodies from Sam Poole and had a great time creating my bookmark.    I was in the mood to doodle so I added some detail to the Butterfly Girl stamp, coloured her with alcohol markers and glittered her wings.  I created the background by spritzing with a frosty blue Mica Spray, Cosmic Shimmer misting inks (sea view) and added a few splats of Radiant rain colour concentrate in rich cobalt.
I stamped the background with Sam's Hexagon Script stamp in grey versafine ink.  The words are from the art phrases stamp set which I stamped and embossed.  I inked the edges and tied some of the sumptuous Silky Crush ribbon around the bottom of the bookmark.  Now I know that bookmarks should be completely flat but I just couldn't resist making some ribbon roses with the lush silky crush ribbon.  I thought that if I kept them near the top of the bookmark I could always have them peeping over the pages when it's in use.
I'll share the other layout and Canvas that I made at the Cardinal Colours crop soon.
Ciao for now!
