Hello folks! I had a fabulous time at the Cardinal Colours Autumn crop last weekend. It was so good catching up with the team and meeting so many lovely crafters. I was thrilled to attend 3 classes over the weekend (and hosted one myself which I'll blog about soon) I amazed myself by completing one of the classes at the event.... The English Rose class I finished at home.
The class was taught by the talented Lynn Cooper.(details of the class and Lynn's beautiful original here) I love the papers and all the embellishments in the class kit. We even had a chance to paint a Cameo, made by Lynn using Fimoair and a little baking mold. Needless to say, I have ordered some Fimoair and can't wait to start creating some of my own pieces.
I had so much fun placing all the flowers and leaves.... although it did take a long time shaping and inking all the tiny punched hydrangeas and leaves. I'm so pleased how they turned out.
I cut the sentiment on my Cricut. This is only the second layout that I have created which just has me on it. The first one was also made during the crop weekend... I must admit it felt a bit weird. It's much easier creating pages of loved ones.
I'd like to say a huge thank you to Lynn for the great class, and to Jill and the team for the fantastic weekend..... Roll on the next one.
Ciao for now!
