Scrapology are Scraplifting... Me :)

Hello folks! It's been quite an exciting month for me so far.  If you are following me on Facebook then you will already know the news that my HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) certificate arrived this week.  I passed! whoop whoop!  Also over on Scrapology they are scraplifting my page that recently featured in Scrapbook magazine!  What an honour!  Please take some time an hop over to the blog to see the amazing pages my fellow DT have created.  I cannot believe that my lil' ol' page could have inspired such beauties.
I thought I'd have a go and scraplift myself..... I have to admit it was a bit weird but I love how my second page came out too.  The additional challenge this month is to use up your stash.  Which is exactly what I did. I have had this WRMK pack for a loooooong time.  My good friend Mary MacLeod got this kit for me.  It was great fun to actually use it.
I hand cut all the flowers from a sheet of patterned cardstock.  I shaped them and inked the edges and adhered them with my hot met glue gun. I added crystal gems to the centre of the flowers.  I also pleated some ribbon to go at the bottom of my photo mat.  I used some tiny brads, donated by the lovely Mary, to hold back my page curls and finished the page off with some die cut funky foam letters.
I hope you have a chance to join in with this months challenge.  There is an amazing prize up for grabs.

I look forward to coming to visit you and see your creations.
Ciao for now!

Loved the original but your lift is awesome! The colours are beautiful and love all the fussy cutting of the flowers.

I love that you've scraplifted yourself, Sandra and what a gorgeous job you've done too. It's very therapeutic cutting out flowers isn't it.
Many congrats on passing all your exams, you certainly deserve it.
