Hello folks.... a little bit of news to start with.... I passed my GCSE Biology exams with a B grade! Yay! I was so thrilled when I ripped open the letter... not only that, the lady at the school was ushering me to the tutors to discuss my next step not realising that I was a mature student who had completed a home study course. Anyhow, back to the card. When I looked at Sheena's latest stamp releases and saw the goblet of course 'fountain' popped into my mind. What better papers to team that thought up with than the Kaisercraft Lakehouse collection.
I stamped and coloured the image with alcohol markers. I cut the stem of the goblet from the cup, turned in around and adhered to the background paper (which I had cut in to) with loads of dimensional glue gel. I used the glue gel to create the water on the fountain and sprinkled it with a little glitter so it glistened. I saw this technique demoed on Create and Craft by Scary Mary who used it on a 3D piece she had made. The sentiment was also from the Knowledge stamp set. With a little ribbon the card was complete! Something a little bit different for the 'Knowledge' stamp set don't you think?Ciao for now!
