School's Out for Summer... card Challenge

Hello folks!  Well school's finally out for Summer and it was great to see my little ones so excited to take this card to their teacher. They said she loved it!  I dug out a K&Co 6x6 pad, which I have had for years, and used 3 sheets to create my card.
I used the patterned sheet straight onto the base of the card.  Then I cut out the boarder  and inked all the edges.  I adhered it to the card using thin strips of foam tape and added AB rhinestone to the boarder.  From the next sheet  I cut out some of the elements and shaped them before inking and adhering.  I coloured the cute image, cut it out and popped into place.  For the letters I die cut my good ol' favourite Funky Foam.
This card was just perfect for the current challenge over on Scrapology.  There are some fabulous designs by my fellow DT to inspire you.  By changing the sentiments these cards can easily be turned into 'Congratulations', 'You've passed your exams', or even, 'back to school' cards - not that I'm wishing the Summer away.
I hope you can join in with this fun challenge.
Ciao for now!
