My 'vintage' butterfly card

Hello folks! It's 'card challenge' time over on Scrapology.  This time we are sponsored by the uber talented Hels Sheridan who wants you to 'make it vintage'.  I made my card for my wonderful sister-in-law Anna who celebrated her birthday on the 10th of this month.
I dug deep down into my stash mountain for these vintage K&Co papers (I've had them for years).  I spritzed the paper with glimmer mists and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Doily Mask to create the embossed shape. I die cut the large butterfly#2 Bigz Sizzix die from chipboard, covered it with some patterned paper and inked the edges.  The smaller doily type shape was also die cut, but this time it's a memory box die, and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I chopped out a corner from the woven circle and hid the chopped out bit by tucking behind the other pieces.
Sam Poole's Artful lady was stamped onto patterned paper (that was stuck onto cardstock) and tripled embossed. The letters were die cut from the Sizzlet alphabet die 'Chocolatey Goodness'.... Ooo I just love that name ;o)  I embossed each individual letter too.  I added some ribbon and a bow made using the silky crush champagne ribbon and 3 of the lush wooden Vintage Buttons.  The little butterflies were die cut and embossed using a Stamp-it-up die and I added some bisque liquid pearls to the bodies.
It's well worth heading over to the Scrapology blog to see the fabulous tag Hels has made for the challenge, the wonderful inspiration from my fellow teamies and the great prize that's up for grabs.
Ciao for now!

Just beautiful Sandra. I've had these papers in my 'stroke only' pile for a long, long while but never imagined they could look this good. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Buttons x
