Enjoy every MOMENT

Hello folks!  Here's I card I made using Sam Poole's fabulous Artful Ladies stamp set. (I think this particular lady is fast becoming my firm favourite)  I used Papermania 'Blueberry Hill' patterned papers.  On the background sheet I stamped the beautiful rose from the Butterfly Girl stamp set in versamark ink and clear embossing powder and also some with white embossing powder.  I used the very versatile dotty stamp ( from the Butterfly Girl set) in the top left corner stamped in green ink.  The little quote can be found on the Art Sayings stamp set.
For the lovely lady herself I stamped the image several times on different patterned papers from the pad.  I spent some happy hours cutting the various pieces out, inking the individual pieces and deciding how to 'dress' her.  The wings are stamped and embossed in white onto vellum.
She is layered onto a die cut doily (Cheery Lynn) which is itself layered onto some beautiful Moss Green Vintage Ribbon.  I dangled a Square birdcage charm from the ribbon and added some decorative corners that I die cut from pink funky foam.
I sent this card to my talented friend Lynn.  Do check out her blog for some cracking inspiration.
I hope you are continuing to enjoy the extended Jubilee Bank holiday weekend!
Ciao for now!

It's super, Sandra. I love the way you've used the doiley. I usually forget that you can crumple papers and still get them to look good on cards. Duh! Enjoy the rest of the festivities. Hazel x
