Hello folks!! I am so sorry that I haven't been around much lately. The festive season is keeping me on my toes this year. I'm hoping to be able to catch up with you all later on this month.
I made this card for the December Scrapology card challenge which this month is all about 'leaves'. I dug out my favourite Hanglar and Stanglar stamp and coloured it with alcohol markers. The background paper started off life as a sheet of Brenda Pinnick paper. I stamped over it with the large swirly flower and painted with Mica paints. I then scrunched it up, flattened it out and spritzed it with pearl and silver Mica sprays. More scrunching and spritzing on the purple layer too.
I added the sheer patterned ribbon, Prima velvety leaves and clear beads. I just love the gorgeous texture the Prima leaves bring to the design which contrasts beautifully with the clean shiny beads. I die cut the letters from gold mirri paper using my Go-Kreate alphabet dies. I added glitter to the characters wings and the flowers for a finishing touch.
The prize for this months card challenge is a fabulous Kaisercraft set from the Cockadoodledoo range. Hop on over to find out all the details and be inspired by the gorgeous cards created by my fellow DT. I hope you can join in with the fun.
Ciao for now!
