hApPy ChRiStMaS to all...!!!

Hello folks! First of all an apology for not being around, we have been consumed by Christmas preparations, and secondly HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all my wonderful crafty friends! I wish you the very best for this blessed time of year.
Just wanted to share this Enchanted forest fairy card with you. The main image and sentiment are from the Enchanted stamp plate. I stamped her directly onto Kraft card and painted her with watercolours. I cut her out with Nestabilities, inked the edges and drew faux stitches with a white gel pen. The scalloped layer is die cut from foam. I stamped the dark brown card with versamark ink and the small flower stamp from the Magical Day stamp plate and swirled perfect pearls powder over it. I punched the border using a Martha Stewart punch. I used my Cricut to create the bracket card shape. I added some ribbon and flowers that I had painted red with layered up with smaller punched daisies and topped off with a self adhesive pearl. I stamped and embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.
Ok... off to prep the veg for tomorrow. Have a good one!
Much love

Enchanted fairy party invite

Hi folks! Here is a little party invite I made using the main fairy image from the 'funtime' Enchanted forest stamp plate.
A very simple card. Just some ivory pearlescent card that I embossed with my Cuttlebug. I stamped, coloured and cut out the fairy. I adhered her to the front of the card and cut around her (see below).
I die cut the letters from green funky foam using a Sizzlet alphabet and embellished them with tiny flowers and coil of wire. Then a ribbon bow on the side and some matting and layering on the inside.
I hope all your Chirstmas preparations are going well. There is still lots to do in the Dry household. We're counting down the nativities and various other Christmas performances... another 4 (I think) to go.
Ciao for now!

Fabulous fairy fun card

Hi folks! Here's another card I made using my Enchanted Forest Joanna Sheen stamps. This time I used the larger fairy from all three sets and an unusual card fold. Now the way I created the base was to make two diamond top cards,(tutorial here by Jilly) lay them down, overlap them and glue them together. I then added the extra panel for the fairy at the top and held it in place using the eyelets. Alternatively I have just found this great tutorial, by Meredith, which shows the whole card made as one, with some great flaps added to the front.
Once the base of the card is completed this is a fairly simple card to put together. I just stamped, coloured (using Promarkers and Copics), cut out and glittered the fairies. I used some DCWV glittered floral background paper. I stamped and embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and just mat & layered it up.

I used green eyelets to thread some ribbon through and tied them into big bows.
This turned out to be quite a large card, for me. My photography leaves a lot to be desired as I can never quite capture the shimmer and glitter on it. Ah well, I shall just have to leave that to your imagination.
Have a great weekend.
Ciao for now!

Enchanted Forest Stamp Collection

Hi folks! Fairies, fairies everywhere yet outside there is a blanket of snow. I think it's funny how, as crafters, we're moving on to the wonderful colours of Spring with it's floral and fairy themes. Then once we reach the warm Summer months.... we're crafting for Christmas! Bonkers.

I love this card. I'm going to have to make it again as I sent it to Joanna Sheen as a sample to showcase my, recently launched, fairy stamp designs (Available here) I stamped the main fairy designs, coloured them, cut them out and glittered them. The main structure of the card I manipulated on my gypsy and cut on the Cricut. I lined the inside of the card with some pretty patterned paper (DCWV) and also added some acetate to the inside of the front of the card.

I adhered a fairy to the inside and another to the outside using dimensional glue gel. I piled blobs of glue gel 'here and there' on the front of the card and added some tiny punched flowers and spiraled wire. To finish off I added the large ribbon bow.

I have had so much fun creating with my own stamp designs but it has been an absolute thrill to see what the talented design team have made with them too.

I hope you like them and some find their fairy homes at yours.

Ciao for now!
