How Now Brown Cow?

Hi folks! Here's a card I made with Jayne Netley Mayhews 'Cow' rubber stamp set. In my mind cows are always called 'Daisy' which is why I started off with the idea of a flower shaped card and chose those particular patterned paper designs. The papers have been in my stash for many years, I think they were from a provo craft bumper stack.
The flower shaped card was created using my Cricut and Gypsy. I filled the aperture with some acetate which I had embossed, using my Cuttlebug, to add some texture.
I wanted to add a panel to use the other lovely cow stamp and also a place to write a message but I didn't want it visible through the acetate panel. So I added a decorated flap with a little ribbon loop, so that it could be lifted easily and attached it with a brad.
I added the main image, coloured in with Copic markers, a ribbon bow and the message to the front of the card.
I hope you enjoy this glorious weekend.
Ciao for now!

What a fab idea Sandra, gorgeous papers and the flower shaped card with the flap inside is genius.
I always think cows should be called Ermintrude.
Have a great weekend.

I love this compact-style card it's beautifully designed and perfect for the bovine lover. Sometimes cows are called Buttercup don't you think? But this one is definitely a Daisy! Warmest wishes, Lesley
