Sheena's 'A little bit Magical' stamp launch...

Hello folks!  Sheena Douglass is launching some fabulous 'Little bit magical' stamps tomorrow on Create and Craft and I have been privileged to have a play with 2 of the sets.  The fantastic stack of books, swirl and sentiment stamps that I have used on my 'Magic' card are from the 'knowledge' set. I took the photo of Dumbledore when we went to the Harry Potter Experience with my eldest son last year.  The stamp sets will come in useful when I create my layouts.
I dug deep into my 12x12 stash mountain to unearth my DCWV 'Once Upon a time' stack which I knew would be perfect for these stamps.  I stamped the books and coloured them with alcohol markers first and added the sheen with mica paints.  I stamped the swirl with flitter glue and rubbed over gold foil.
While I was playing with the layout I decided the background needed 'something' so I added a Distress stain splat in black soot. I heat embossed a thick layer of golden lustre UTEE around the edges of the photo.  I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of card that I coloured then painted and cut into shape before shaping with my fingers. Just a tiny bow and some sparkly rhinestones were added to complete the card.
My fellow Inkoids have created some amazing samples if you head over to Sheena's page on Facebook you'll see some of them.  Better still, watch the shows tomorrow, at 9am & 4pm and you'll see Sheena herself in action :)
Ciao for now!
