Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose Collection

Hi folks! Here's the first class layout that I made on the Merly Impressions Retreat that I recently attended.   It was a class by the talented Chrissy and used the wonderful Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose Collection.  It was so interesting and inspiring to walk around the crops rooms and see all the different versions everyone came up with even though we all started with the same kit.
I enjoyed cutting out the frame and adding some super sparkly blue crystals.  (It's been overcast here and so difficult to capture the glitz & glamour of this layout on the photo.... you'll have to imagine that bit)
I used the beautiful lace stamp that came in the class kit to stamp around the edge of the 12x12 base sheet.  I quickly made myself a little 45° angle template out of acetate so I could mitre the corners.
More bling added to the beautiful Love corner flourish.  This is my favourite layout from the weekend..... until I look at the next page then that becomes my favourite.  Let's just say that I liked them all...!
This is Chrissy's fabulous and inspiring page.
Ciao for now!

Gorgeous page sweetie, you are a great inspiration. I can view your postings through bloglovin but not comment. I have to remember to come back later and comment later through the old way.

Have a good weekend

I love your glitzy version and that border is amazing too. I agree about the variation of layouts from the same kit - truly amazing. So please to have been part of this weekend with you.
