Hello folks! Well, I can't believe that I didn't get round to blogging this months Scrapology Challenge as it's one of my all time fav's!! We've scraplifted a wonderful page by Heather Jacob and the added challenge was to use texture paste. I used Sparkle Medium through a honeycomb mask. If you click on the pic to make it bigger you can get a better idea of just how sparkly this page is. The first layer, K&Co speciality paper, is foiled; the black sheet has been spritzed with mica sprays; the texture paste is a sparkle medium: I've added crystals to the flower embellishments and covered the dragonflies/twirly bits/ heart with stickles.
I seem to have a 'thing' with Scrapping on black. I've just sent Sheena a layout to showcase the new 'Primary Elements' she'll be launching on Create and Craft, and it's on black too.
I made this card for the current card challenge over on Scrapology which launched yesterday. We were challenged to use something transparent. I drew and cut the heart aperture for this card to fit nicely around the hand cut image. A simple card that I went a bit 'Sue Wilson' on with all the liquid pearl dots.
The team have come up with some fantastic examples of using transparent elements on their cards, so don't forget to hop over here to be inspired. I hope you'll have a chance to join in and look forward to seeing your creations.
Ciao for now!
