Hello folks! It's been a while since my last post. Busy, busy here at the Drys'. I wish I could discover the art of 'speed crafting'... I might have a bit more time to blog and join you in our little virtual crafty world. Sheena is ont'telly again today with a fabulous half price shows. You'll have to be speedy to catch some bargains as I think lots sold out on the 9am show. I used the wonderful Dahlia stamp on this scrapbook page of my beautiful big sister Betty.
I stamped the large flower head on solid yellow, patterned yellow and patterned pink paper. The leaves I stamped onto patterned green paper. I then spent a delightful few hours cutting the pieces out and inked all the edges. I printed out a large picture of my sister and framed it with the flowers which I stuck down with dimensional glue gel. I popped the details on a couple of leaves.
A ribbon bow and some loops of ribbon were the finishing touches.
I hope you were able to grab your bargains (jump here if you missed them)
Ciao for now!
