A Steampunk Christmas...

Hello folks!  I've had fun playing with some of Sam Poole's fabulous Christmas designs... this time Steampunk Christmas.  I have, however, managed to make a totally 'un-Steampunk' type card.  This shows the versatility of these wonderful designs.
I used the polka dot mask to emboss the centura pearl cardstock layer. I stamped and embossed, with silver embossing powder, 3 of the cogs/gears from the set. I then die cut them using a circular flower die and adhered them to the card front using dimensional glue gel 'hanging' from ribbon and ribbon bows.  I finished off the baubles by adding crystal glitter to the patterns and AB rhinestones to the centres.  I also added a stamped and embossed '25', again from the set, and mounted it onto another little piece of card that  I made to look like a present with ribbon.  I distressed all the edges with pink ink... a real step away from my usual black.
I hope you have had a great weekend and are enjoying advent.
Ciao for now!

Very pretty. But it's too close to the card I love below, because now I love the splatty flower card all over again a den that's not fair on this super shimmery creation! X
