Hello folks! Over on Scrapology we are being sponsored by the fabulous Megan K. Suarez from Dilly Beans Stamps and the challenge is to make a card that has buttons and bows on it......if you join in, don't do what I did - leave the buttons off... Doh!!
The image is a Dilly Bean. I coloured her with alcohol markers and 'fussy cut' her out (yes I even cut that skinny border - if you click on the pic's they come up bigger so you can see the detail) I added glossy accents to her eyes and Martha Stewart black glitter to her lashes, they are super sparkly to the naked eye. I hope I have caught some of that sparkle in the pic above.
I die cut the flowers and leaves, inked; shaped; adhered and glittered before gluing into place. The corner is also a die cut piece that I inked and added gems to. I gave this card to my good friends daughter, Jasmine, for her birthday. I added her name just above the main image before I gave it to her. Jasmine was really pleased with her card. I love making cards for Jasmine, now 12, she still has every card I have made for her :o)
I hope you can join in with the challenge.... check out my talented fellow DT for some wonderful inspiration.
Ciao for now!
