Three layouts published in this months Scrapbook Magazine! Whoop Whoop!

Hello folks!  I'm so excited to share my Whoop Whoop news with you.... I was asked to do the Budget Challenge for Scrapbook Magazine.  I was so excited when I bought the magazine this morning I must have bored everyone to tears at work going on and on about it.  Sorry peeps.
It's a great edition of the magazine too, with loads of beautiful pages that I can't wait to have a go at creating.  A big thanks goes to the lovely Paula of Crafts-U-Love who provided the stash for the £10 budget Challenge.
Ciao for now!

Autumn Colours Card Challenge

Hello folks!  It's been a while since I was able to share anything crafty with you and I've been itching to share this months Scrapology Card Challenge of Autumn colours.  I made this card with left overs from one of the wonderful class kits from the Merly Impressions weekend crop that I attended earlier this year.  It also features a chipboard bird kindly given to me by Wendy and Jill, fellow teamies on the DT.
I'm also excited to share that there are 2 new members of the Scrapology DT.  Karen Leonard and Scrapdolly. Looking forward to creating alongside these talented ladies.
I hope you have a chance to join in with this months challenge.  There is a fab prize up for grabs and oodles of cracking inspiration from the DT.
Ciao for now!

B-is for buttons, a Laura Vega Scraplift

Hello folks!  Can you believe it's October already?  No, neither can I. This year is just flying by.  There is a new challenge over on the Scrapology blog.  This month we are scraplifting the talented Laura Vegas with the focus on using buttons. I have to admit that my mojo has been A.W.O.L. of late.... am still waiting for it to make an appearance!
I always find it's great to follow a sketch when Mr. Mojo decides to take a break.  For my page I used WRMK papers.  The photo, of my great-nephew, is mounted on funky foam on top of rows of colourful ribbons.  I also die cut the title letters from foam and adorned each letter with a coloured rhinestone.
The buttons are all hand stitched into place.  I layered up a few blooms with more buttons for the centres and finished off the page with a ribbon and bow across the bottom.
Now the nights are drawing in you'll have more crafting time to join us in our challenge.  I hope you do.  There's a fab prize up for grabs.  If you need any inspiration head on over to the blog where you'll be able to see the wonderful creations by my fellow teamies.
Ciao for now!
